Coming from a long line of makers, be it fabric, clay, paper, or paint, I've always respected and appreciated something that is made by hand.  Quality over quantity. Made by someone who takes their time, not only because they want the final product to be just right, but because they genuinely enjoy the process of creating.  

As a woodworker I believe that art should be beautiful, accessible, and functional. Each piece of tableware is created with North Carolina landscapes in mind.  Much like the rivers and creeks flow throughout, the carvings cut into the wood reveal the hidden beauty within. Each board's story develops with every scrape and mark it collects with everyday use, creating a beautiful new patina.  I use different species of wood reminiscent of the beautiful regions where I draw most of my inspirations from.  Each board is designed to elevate your daily routine with the perfect blend of aesthetics and purpose.
